MISSION STATEMENT
The HQMC IMA Detachment Branch provides reserve support and augmentation to HQMC Intel.

TASKS
  • Integrate reserve intelligence capabilities into the active component into maximize USMC total force intelligence capabilities.
  • Serve as Operational Sponsor for the HQMC USMC IMA Detachment consisting of an HQMC Intel Division Detachment, DIA J2 Detachment, and DIA DH Detachment.
  • Manage the HQMC Intel Active Duty Special Work (ADSW) program and budget.
  • Recruit, identify, coordinate, and mobilize Reserve and Retired Marines in support of global requirements.
  • Coordinate and assist Marine Forces Reserve (MarForRes) G-2 with training and staffing.
  • Coordinate and manage the Reserve Marines.
